Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
  • Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a dish.
  • Whisk eggs and water in a separate bowl for the egg wash.
  • Coat chicken in flour mix, dip in egg wash, and coat again in flour.
  • Arrange chicken on the wire rack and bake for 15 minutes, then flip.
  • Continue baking for another 10-15 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in hot sauce and honey, and set aside.
  • Toss baked chicken in the sauce and serve immediately.
