Instructions
Pat the ling cod fillets dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Place the seasoned ling cod fillets in the hot pan and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Remove the fillets from the pan and set aside.
Add butter to the pan and melt it over medium heat.
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Remove the pan from the heat and add lemon juice and fresh parsley.
Return the ling cod fillets to the pan and spoon the sauce over them.
Garnish with lemon slices and extra parsley.
Serve immediately while hot.
